Wahl Rex 1230-0477 Animal Clipper – Corded, 0.7 to 3 mm cutting lengths, Black

The Wahl Rex 1230-0477 is a corded animal clipper for trimming dogs at home. It runs quietly, which helps with nervous animals.

Key features

• Quiet motor: an oscillating armature motor that runs quietly, which helps when clipping timid, sick or nervous animals.
• Six cutting lengths: a multiclick adjuster with six set positions from 0.7 to 3 mm, so you can change the length one click at a time.
• Hardened steel head: a metal cutting head made from specially hardened steel for lasting wear.
• Corded power: runs from the mains on a single speed, so there is no battery to charge and no drop in power.
• Two attachment combs: 6 mm and 9 mm combs clip on for longer cuts.
• Suits smaller breeds: made for home grooming of small and medium-sized dogs such as Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese, Shih Tzus and Poodles.

Looking after the blade

Bathe and comb your dog before clipping. Dirt and sand can dull a blade after a single use. Oil the blade before and after clipping, because a dry blade heats up quickly and wears faster.
