Description
The Sage Smart Grill Pro (BGR840) is a 2400 W contact grill with heating elements embedded in its cast aluminium plates and an integrated temperature probe. It can be used closed as a press or opened flat for grilling and griddling.
Key features
- Element iQ plates: 2400 W heating elements are embedded in the plates and controlled by an electronic thermostat.
- Temperature probe: the integrated probe measures the temperature inside the meat and shows it on the LCD.
- Five meat settings: beef, lamb, pork, poultry and fish settings have programmed temperatures and tell you when to rest the meat.
- Open flat mode: the grill opens flat to give a 260 square inch grilling and griddle surface.
- Removable plates: the cast aluminium plates have a PFOA-free non-stick coating and lift out for cleaning.
- Adjustable height and tilt: the top plate has six height settings and the plate tilt can be adjusted.
Temperature range
The temperature can be set from 160°C to 230°C in 5°C steps, with Low, Panini and Sear ranges. A removable drip tray collects fat.
