The KitchenAid 5KEK1222BAC is a dome style electric kettle in almond cream with a 1.25 L capacity. It has a compact footprint, so it suits a smaller kitchen.

Key features

• Compact dome shape: a 1.25 L kettle that boils water quickly and takes up little worktop space
• Easy filling: inner water level markings, a wide fill opening and a removable lid make it simple to fill
• Clean pouring: a non-drip spout and a smooth aluminium handle keep pouring steady and tidy
• Limescale filter: a removable filter traps scale deposits, and you can rinse it clean under hot water with a soft brush or cloth
• Cordless 360° base: lift the kettle off and put it back from any angle, with the cord stored under the base
• Simple controls: an on/off switch with an LED indicator light, and the kettle switches itself off once the water has boiled

Built for everyday use

The body is metal with a single wall stainless steel interior, and the heating element is concealed under the base. A boil-dry shut-off is built in. The kettle boils water only, up to 100°C.
