Description
The KitchenAid Artisan (5KEK1522) is a 1.5 litre electric kettle with variable temperature control from 50 to 100°C. It suits delicate green and white teas as well as coffee and everyday boiling.
Key features
- Variable temperature: a sliding lever sets the water temperature between 50 and 100°C.
- Temperature gauge: the gauge on the kettle shows the water temperature, even when the kettle is off its base.
- Temperature hold: the kettle keeps the chosen temperature for up to 30 minutes when left on its base.
- Dual-wall construction: the insulated double wall helps keep the water hot for longer.
- 1.5 litre capacity: one fill is enough for around 6 cups of tea or coffee.
- Limescale filter: a removable filter keeps limescale out of the cup.
Easy to use
The kettle sounds a ding when the chosen temperature is reached. It has a soft-grip handle and a lid release button, and it sits on a 360° base with cord wrap underneath. Choose your colour above.
