KitchenAid 5KCM1209BER Filter Coffee Machine – 1.7 L, 29-Hole Showerhead, Empire Red (Empire Red)

The KitchenAid 5KCM1209BER is a 1.7 litre filter coffee machine in Empire Red. It brews with a spiral showerhead and has a clear LCD display for setting the timer.

Key features

• Spiral showerhead: a 29-hole showerhead spreads water evenly over the grounds for even saturation.
• Brew strength selector: choose between regular and bold coffee for each pot.
• Programmable brewing: set two brew times, for example one for weekdays and one for weekends, using the 24-hour program and LCD display.
• Pause and pour: take a cup before the brew has finished without waiting for the full pot.
• Warming plate: keeps the coffee hot for up to 40 minutes in 10-minute steps, with a low or high setting.
• Reusable gold-tone filter: a permanent filter with a dosage ladder, so there are no paper filters to buy, and it is dishwasher-safe.

Easy to fill and pour

The removable water tank has a dosage chart on the side, so you can match the water to the amount of coffee you want. The 1.7 litre carafe has a lid and a spout shaped to cut down on drips.
