The De'Longhi Magnifica S (ECAM12.123.B) is a fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine in black. It grinds fresh beans for each cup and has a manual milk frother for cappuccino and latte, so it suits everyday espresso and long coffee at home.

Key features

• Conical burr grinder: the built-in steel conical burr grinder has 13 settings and grinds only the beans needed for each drink.
• Manual milk frother: the steam wand froths milk for cappuccino and latte, and also gives hot water for tea.
• Two cups at once: brews two espressos at the same time from a single grinding cycle.
• Adjustable settings: set the aroma strength, temperature and cup length with the buttons and dial on the front panel.
• Ground coffee option: you can also use pre-ground coffee, for example for an occasional decaf.
• Adjustable coffee spout: the dispenser moves to fit cups from 86 mm to 142 mm tall.

Capacity and size

The water tank holds 1.8 L, the bean hopper 250 g and the grounds container 14 portions. The machine measures 23.8 cm wide, 43 cm deep and 34 cm high, and the pump works at 15 bar.

Cleaning

The brewing unit comes out completely for rinsing and the drip tray grid is dishwasher safe. Descaling and rinsing programmes are automatic, and the machine switches itself off when not in use.
